67 High Street, Marlborough, Wiltshire, SN8 1HF
Crosby and Lawrence has been in Marlborough, Wiltshire since the late 1800’s and was started by two Marlborough College rackets masters. The game of rackets was the forerunner to squash, and is still played today in many public schools.
Marlborough College took over the shop some 50 years ago to supply uniform to the pupils. Situated at the bottom of the High Street near the College, and bearing an old Victorian frontage, the shop is well placed for College and town. The business has grown rapidly allowing expansion of the range of sports kit and equipment to serve the demands of the pupils at the school and the local community. The business prides itself on offering excellent service from knowledgeable staff.
The equipment stocked ranges from bowls to lacrosse, and if an item required is not in store it can be specially ordered in. "Cros and Los" as it is known locally trades Monday to Saturday 9am - 5pm.
