I have been snowboarding for over 24 years and in that time have tried every incarnation of construction and design: some good, some bad but very very few awesome. But having ridden the Burton Hero V rocker "awesome" is the only word I can think of to describe it. In deep snow you simply take one eyelash and place on the back of your board, this is the only weight you need to ride powder - No back leg burn!

This is due to the anti-camber V rocker shape and with 'frostbite' edges this baby keeps it's edge at speed on hard pack and ice, which most other rocker boards do not. Standard rockers skip out at speed and upon landings from kickers, which is the last thing you want. It has a full sintered bulletproof base, EGD, and Burtons unique 'infinite ride technology'. Infinite ride means that the board was originally over-shaped and then placed into the infinite ride machine which constantly bent the board with the use of cams and rollers effectively pre-bedding in the board. This means that this board will never lose it's feel!
